The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5.00 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (1400 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 645.73 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 14% to 951.1 million billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,008.67 liras and 2,012.20 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 a.m, and 6 p.m. local time (0500, and 1300 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,000 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 28.18 liras at 2.45 p.m. local time (1145 GMT) on Friday.
