The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 230.91 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 33.6% to 1.12 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,861.14 liras and 1,872.16 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,988.99 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,500 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.49 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
