Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Dec. 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 631.8 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,441.42 Turkish liras at 7 p.m local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at 250 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 36% to around 631.8 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,268.92 liras and 1,292.47 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,700 liras at 8 a.m local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 749.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 28.90 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Saturday.
