The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,849.02 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 999.99 liras at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0800 and 1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 14.5% to around 1.29 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,107.62 liras and 2,118.09 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,950 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,275 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.35 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Saturday.
