Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, March 16

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 875.65 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,850 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) at between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. local time (0600-1200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 28.1% to around 874.65 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,496.69 liras and 1,530.08 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Saturday was set as 2,950.01 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT) and the lowest was set as 356 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT).

US$1 equals 36.48 Turkish liras on Saturday.
