The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Saturday and 1500 - 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 80.99 at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 36.7% to around 900.3 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,648.07 liras and 1,644.20 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 2,700 liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,449.99 at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.04 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Saturday.
