Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Oct. 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 904.61 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5.00 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (1400 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at 625 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 4.89% to 904.61 million billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,079.27 liras and 2,082.26 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at2,700 Turkish liras between 5.00 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (1400 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 645.73 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 28.14 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
