The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 9.4% to around 1.92 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,690.75 liras and 2,713.39 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1200 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,131 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.93 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Wednesday.
