The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600-1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,851.29 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 0.9% to 1.81 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,661.99 liras and 2,677.90 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,989 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. (2100 GMT on Tuesday) while the lowest rate at 2,050 liras at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. local time (0300 and 0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.53 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Thursday.
