The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,698.96 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1.449,98 liras at 2 and 3 a.m. local time (2300 and 0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 1.87% to around 1.49 billion Turkish liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,273.78 liras and 2,327.49 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and at 5 p.m. local time (0400-0600 GMT, 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1.449,99 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).
US$1 equals 29.13 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
