Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Feb. 13

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.89 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,950 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate is set at 1,874.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 5.7% to 1.89 billion liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,492.81 liras and 2,529.63 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,874.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 36.10 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Wednesday.
