The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,989 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,889.98 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an decrease of 6% to 1.78 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,455.24 liras and 2,484 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,077 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.30 liras at 2.04 p.m. local time (1104 GMT) on Wednesday.
