The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,595.52 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000.01 liras at 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. local times (2300 GMT and 0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 13.2% to around 1.2 billion Turkish liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,743.79 liras and 1,804.65 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,686.01 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,050.00 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 30.60 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
