The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100, 2200, 0700, 0800, and between 1000 - 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,474.15 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 4.2% to around 1.98 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,678.19 liras and 2,680.97 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m., between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m and between 2 p.m and 11 p.m. local time (2100 - 2300, 0600 - 0800, and 1100 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,379.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.39 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Wednesday.
