The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 101.2% to around 1.51 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,296.66 liras and 2,313.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 120.01 liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.55 liras at 2.09 p.m. local time (1109 GMT) on Wednesday.
