The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 2 p.m., and between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1100 GMT and between 1400 - 2000 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,608.48 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 2.82% to around 1.74 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,510.34 liras and 2,526.80 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Tuesday and between 1400 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,179 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.92 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Wednesday.
