The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,619 at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 6.2% to around 1.52 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,349.38 liras and 2,365.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), and the lowest was set as 1,499.99 at 2 a.m and 3 a.m. local time (2300, 0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.28 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Wednesday.
