The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 1 a.m., 8 a.m. 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time (2200 GMT on Wednesday, 0500, 0600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,931.18 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 0.9% to around 1.56 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,445.44 liras and 2,450.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. local time (2100 and 2200 GMT on Wednesday) and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1400 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,498.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.17 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Wednesday.
