The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 3 p.m and 8 p.m. local times (0500 and 1200 - 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set as 2,499.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 7.7% to 1.97 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 4,180.91 liras and 4,49.13 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 4,800 liras at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. local times (0600, 0800 and 1100 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was agreed at 1,699.83 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.60 liras at 2.58 p.m. local time (1158 GMT) on Wednesday.
