The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 550 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 25.5% to 1.45 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,987.76 liras and 3,170.52 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 4,800 liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time (0500-0800 GMT) and between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1200-1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was agreed at 1,999.99 liras at 10 p.m and 11 p.m local times (1900 and 2000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.61 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
