Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Oct. 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 406.73 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,078 Turkish liras at 08.00 and 17.00 local times (0500 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest will be 454.83 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 11.3% to 406.73 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 784.90 liras and 789.94 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,078 liras at 08.00, 09.00, 17.00 and 18.00 local times (0500, 0600, 1400 and 1500 GMT), while the lowest will be 434.99 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.50 Turkish liras at 1129 GMT on Wednesday.
