Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, July 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 2.03 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. (2100-2200 GMT on Monday, 0600, 0700 GMT, 1400 - 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,198 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 0.8% to around 2.03 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,880.13 liras and 2,884.44 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 12 a.m and 2 a.m., 8 a.m and 11 a.m., 1 pm and 11 p.m (2100 -2300 GMT on Sunday, 0500-0800 GMT, 1000 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.99 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Monday.
