Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.73 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12-2 a.m. and 2-11 p.m. local time (2100-2300, 1100-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,389.90 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.6% to around 1.73 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,512.79 liras and 2,520.08 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 12-2 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1-11 p.m. local time (2100-2300, 0800, 1000-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,399 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.89 liras at 2.35 p.m. local time (1135 GMT) on Monday.
