Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Nov. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 461.61 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,131 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT), while the lowest will be 601 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT) on Tuesday, according to official figures on Monday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 9.73% to 461.61 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 842.54 liras and 848.19 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,131 liras at 08.00 (0500 GMT), 15.00 (1200 GMT), 17.00 (1400 GMT) and 18.00 local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest 450 liras at 02.00 local time (1100 GMT on Sunday).

US$1 equals 9.54 Turkish liras at 1148 GMT on Monday.
