Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Nov. 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.91 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 4,800 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. local time (0500 - 0700 GMT) and between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1100 - 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,645.60 liras at 12 a.m. local time (2100 GMT Monday), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 32.2% to 1.91 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,840.39 liras and 3,986.13 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set as 4,800 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT) while the lowest rate was agreed at 100 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.62 liras at 2.44 p.m. local time (1144 GMT) on Monday.
