The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m and 11 p.m. local time (0500 and 2000 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 13.1% to around 1.84 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,779.55 liras and 2,808.02 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300, 1400, 1500 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1799.25 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.60 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Monday.
