The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1400 – 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,347.98 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 8.9% to around 1.16 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,267.04 liras and 2,285.50 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 liras between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500 – 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,347.98 liras between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and at 7 a.m. local time (0000 – 0200 and at 0500 GMT).
US$1 equals 27.70 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Monday.
