The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 338 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time and the lowest will be 289.99 liras at 04.00, 05.00 and 06.00 local times, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on the electricity market on Tuesday showed an increase of 6.8% to 180.53 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 308.35 liras and 309.555 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 311.46 liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 224.34 liras at 06.00 local time.
US$1 equals 7.39 Turkish liras at 1119 GMT on Tuesday.
