The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1217 Turkish liras between 8.00 and 11.00 and 14.00 and 21.00 local times (0500 GMT - 0800 GMT, and 1100 GMT - 1800 GMT) respectively, while the lowest will be 698 liras at 03.00 and 0400 local times (0000 GMT and 0100), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 27.6% to 576.33 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1020.46 liras and 1028.80 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1130.61 liras at 18.00 local time (1500 GMT), with the lowest at 600 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 13.10 Turkish liras at 1158 GMT on Tuesday.
