The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local times (1100 and 1800GMT) while the lowest will be 800,94 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.6% to 575.61 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,100.08 liras and 1,112.08 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00 (0600 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local times (1100 and 1800GMT) while the lowest 794,56 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT).
US$1 equals 11.80 Turkish liras at 1147 GMT on Tuesday.
