Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Jan. 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 158.05 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 345.01 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest will be 250 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Tuesday showed an increase of 1.13% to 156.05 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 324 liras and 326.57 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 340.84 liras at 18.00 local time, and the lowest will be 243.98 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 5.93 Turkish liras on Tuesday.
