The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500 and between 1400 -1600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,425 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 4.4% to 1.7 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,492.44 liras and 2,508.62 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500 and between 1400 -1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,423.20 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.76 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Tuesday.
