The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. (between 0500 - 0800 and 1300 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,500 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 5.81% to 1.91 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,501.61 liras and 3,552.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (between 0500 - 0700 and 1300 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 2,600 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT, according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.74 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
