The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 120.01 liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 20.4% to around 752.4 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,275.68 liras and 1,295.64 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,561.01 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 100 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.64 liras at 2.07 p.m. local time (1107 GMT) on Wednesday.
