Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, June 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.69 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Tuesday and 1400-1900 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,179 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.5% to around 1.69 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,375.85 liras and 2,392.46 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m., and between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100-2300 GMT on Monday and 1100-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,389.90 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.95 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Tuesday.
