The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,050 Turkish liras at 8 a.m and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,539.99 liras at 5 p.m. (1400 GMT ), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an decrease of 8.45% to 1.15 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,254.14 liras and 2,267.45 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 3,050 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 5.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. (0500, 0600 and 1400-1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,249.97 liras at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.98 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Tuesday.
