The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,499.99 at 2 a.m and 3 a.m. local time (2300, 0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.12% to around 1.43 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,203 liras and 2,234.85 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 2,899.99 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. local time (2100, 0500 GMT) and the lowest was set as 1,499.99 at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 11 p.m. local time (0900, 1000, 2000 GMT).
US$1 equals 36.64 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
