The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,800 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0300 GMT) the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an decrease of 24.12% to 1.45 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,982.52 liras and 3,126.29 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 4,800 liras at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.local time (0500 and 0700 GMT) and between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1100 - 1600 GMT) while the lowest rate was agreed at 1,645.60 liras at 12 a.m. local time (2100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.63 liras at 2.44 p.m. local time (1144 GMT) on Tuesday.
