The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,131 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time (0800 GMT), while the lowest will be 600 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday electricity market showed an increase of 2% to 487.9 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 828.07 liras and 838.15 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,131 liras between 15.00 and 18.00 local time (1200-1500 GMT) and 20.00 local time (1700 GMT), with the lowest at 659 liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT).
US$1 equals 12.57 Turkish liras at 1201 GMT on Tuesday.
