Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Sept. 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 309.7 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 630 Turkish liras at 10.00 local times (0700 GMT), while the lowest will be 437.92 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 0.97% to 309.7 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 522.20 liras and 523.96 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday is set as 674 liras at 19.00 local times (1600 GMT) and the lowest at 431.76 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 8.89 Turkish liras at 1134 GMT on Tuesday.
