The average electricity rate for one megawatt hour in the day ahead spot market for the week ending March 25 decreased by 1.65 percent to 151.35 Turkish liras compared to previous week ending March 18, according to Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Sunday.
Last week the average electricity rate for one megawatt hour was calculated as 153.90 liras.
The highest electricity rate for one megawatt hour in the day ahead spot market for this week was 216 liras on Saturday and the lowest was 49.99 liras on Monday.
EXIST data for the trade volume in this week's electricity market totaled 505.98 million liras.
US$1 equals 3.96 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
