Turkey's daily electricity consumption decreased by 0.23% to 762,075 megawatt-hours on Friday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Saturday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at 19.00 local time with 36,036 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 26,546 megawatt-hours at 05.00 local time.
Electricity production totaled 765,103 megawatt-hours on Friday, marking a 0.22% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from coal imports totaling 185,222 megawatt-hours. Natural gas and hydroelectricity followed with 183,082 megawatt-hours and 158,268 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 6,079 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 3,051 megawatt-hours.
