Turkey's daily electricity consumption increased by 0.3% to 827,706 megawatt-hours on Friday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Saturday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at local time 18.00 with 39,254 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 28,356 megawatt-hours at local time 04.00.
Electricity production totaled 820,867 megawatt-hours on Friday, marking a 0.1% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from imported coal totaling 206,457 megawatt-hours. Natural gas plants and lignite plants followed with 166,363 megawatt-hours and 132,949 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 5,011 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 11,849 megawatt-hours.
