Putin offers S400 to S.Arabia amid drone attacks

- We are ready to give assistance to S.Arabia, says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that Russia can help Saudi Arabia by selling S-300 and S-400 air defense systems following attacks on the Saudi oil industry.

'We are ready to give assistance to Saudi Arabia, and it would be enough for the political leadership of Saudi Arabia to make a wise government decision as the leaders of Iran did by purchasing S-300 and as President Erdogan did by purchasing the latest S-400 air defence systems from Russia,' Putin said during an official visit in Ankara.

Putin's offer came after two drone attacks hit at the Abqaiq and Khurais facilities. Abqaiq is home to the state-owned, Saudi Aramco’s largest oil processing plant on Sept. 14.

Following the drone attacks, Saudi Arabia temporarily cut its oil production from its two oil facilities run by the Saudi Aramco, which corresponds to nearly two million barrels per day.
