Afghanistan: ‘Dozens of oil tankers burnt in Kabul’

- 10 persons injured after fire out at a fuel station spreading it to dozens of oil tankers

At least ten people were injured after 'dozens of oil tankers were burnt' in Afghanistan on Saturday night.

The Kabul administration's Interior Ministry Spokesman Tariq Arian told local Tolo News: 'Dozens of fuel tankers were burnt in tonight's major fire in Karez-e Mir area in Shakardara district of Kabul province.'

He added ten people were injured in the incident.

According to local police officials in the Afghan capital, 'many fuel tankers have been burnt after a fire broke out at a fuel station in Karez-e-Mie area north of Kabul at around 9:00 pm local time [1630GMT].'

Rescue and relief operations are going on.
