The İstanbul Energy Forum, organized by Anadolu under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, will kick off on Friday with the main theme, 'Common Future, Common Goals.'
The day-long forum, which will take place at the Istanbul Congress Center on November 22, will address topics such as regional energy sector targets, Türkiye's role in ensuring natural gas supply security, financing the energy transition, and regional and international energy agendas.
The forum will bring together energy ministers, representatives from local and international NGOs, global organizations, academics, media professionals, and business leaders from around the world to discuss pressing issues in the energy sector.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Anadolu's President and CEO Serdar Karagoz.
A high-level Ministerial Session titled 'Challenges and Opportunities for a Resilient Future,' moderated by Minister Bayraktar, will feature Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Bulgaria's Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov, Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Moldova's Energy Minister Victor Parlicov, Libya's Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek, Serbia's Energy, Mines Minister Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, and Uzbekistan's Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamahmudov.
The forum will also include specialized sessions such as 'New Dynamics of Gas Security: Regional Perspectives,' hosted by the Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS), 'Prospects for New Technologies and Fuels in a Smart Energy Transition,' and 'Financing the Energy Transition: Expectations and Priorities.'
The forum will conclude with an acknowledgment and review session held by Anadolu.
