Norway's March oil output was 5.9% lower than the forecast of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD), and 3.6% below the NPD forecast so far this year, the directorate announced on Friday.
Production decreased by 3,800 barrels per day compared to February, according to NPD's official figures.
Furthermore, the country's total gas sales in March saw a monthly increase of 700 million cubic meters to 10.4 billion cubic meters.
The Nordic country's daily production of oil, natural gas liquids and condensate totaled 1.96 million barrels of oil equivalent in March, according to the statement.
