The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 19.9% to around 9.26 million Turkish liras on Friday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to about 7.72 million liras.
On Friday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 11,888.06 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 780,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received around 125.3 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 34.13 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Saturday.
