Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by nearly 0.42 percent to 254.5 thousand tonnes in October compared to the same month last year, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog on Wednesday.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EPDK) data showed that imports to Turkey came from Algeria, the U.S., Norway, Russia, Kazakhstan, Libya, Greece and Santa Kitts and Nevis.
Turkey's LPG production decreased in October to approximately 68.7 thousand tonnes - almost a 10 percent fall on a yearly basis.
Exports saw a slump over the same period by nearly 81.52 percent to 3.7 thousand tonnes compared to October 2017.
Total sales of LPG hit approximately 341.1 thousand tonnes in October, including 271.3 thousand tonnes of autogas, 61.9 thousand tonnes of bottled LPG, and 7.7 thousand tonnes of bulk LPG.
