Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased year on year in August by 4.58% to 96,614 tons, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Friday.
EMRA's LPG Market Report showed the country's LPG imports increased by 42.02% to 391,593 tons in August, with imports from Algeria, the US, Russia, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Italy and Georgia.
The country's LPG exports also decreased by 30.39% to 18,966 tons during the same month. The top five countries that Türkiye exported LPG to were Austria, Romania, Ukraine, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and the Turkish Free Zones.
Meanwhile, total LPG sales reached 407,507 million tons.
